Haven Paper Map
The second version of the paper map for "Haven", drawn over the "Lighting Only" version of the map. My goal for this map was the theme of simplicity. I wanted to make a rather straight-forward platformer while also presenting a challenge to the player despite its simplicity.

Description:
Haven is a 3D side scroller platforming level.

The Level Design Process:
Creating a level that strictly only incorporated the "Starter Content" asset pack from Epic Games.​
Designing a simplistic yet challenging level that also had to be visually appealing.
Learning about material stretching and why it should be avoided.
Several rounds of playtesting and revising.
Incorporating feedback from the professor and fellow game design students.
Making sure the final polished level was functional and could not be broken by play testers'.

"Starter Content" by Epic Games.
Can be enabled when creating a new project in Unreal Engine.
